Okay, so here is a couple pics of my first attempt at C.G.
2 pics, one with a light shining into it, because the other one was pretty dark.

Yep, you made colloidal gold.  Which formula did you use?

OMG!!!!

Thats suppose to be C.S. not gold... something has gone horribly wrong!!

okay I used this one below just doubled it is all.

40 ppm Colloidal Gold, chemical reduction -- Karo Corn Syrup /  Washing Soda
250ml cold distilled water
6 drops 1 molar sodium carbonate solution
6 drops Karo corn syrup diluted 50%
1 ml Gold Chloride containing 10 mg gold (Available from SaltLakeMetals.com).
Stir
Heat about 2 minutes in microwave or until it starts to boil.
Allow to cool.

The goal is to purchase some gold wire now and see if I can make up the save quality stuff with that. ... once I find a good place to buy some gold wire
