Has anyone tested sodium citrate as a stabilizing agent for making Colloidal Silver?
I'm wondering, as I know that it can be used. Yesterday I made a smaller batch of 250 ml deionized water + 0.25 ml 1-mol sodium carbonate (26.5 mg) + 0.4 ml 1-mol glucose (72 mg) + 1 ml 0.1 mol trisodium citrate dihydrate (29.4 mg), heated til 60 C and with magnetic stirrer, then started electrolysis with 15 mA constant current for 10 minutes to make 40 ppm. The result was orange and turbid. Maybe too tlittle citrate.
