Hi folks!

I am making silver water, and after im reducing it with dextro solution as reducer.
I saw in one of the guides on this forum that they are aiming for 14nm size of the particles.
My question is, how do i aim for a certain size of the silver nano particles?

Oh this might be interesting info (or maybe not  ;) ) for other people.
My dad worked worked in a Lab and is a chemist. I asked him the question how is the size of the silver nano particles determined?

His answer was, the current of the electrolyse process and the temperature while doing the electrolyse and also the temperature during the reducing process.
The higher the current, the bigger the nano particles. Also the higher the temperature, the bigger the nano particles.

Then how come people prefer to run the process cool(er)? I always seem to get better results doing it as close to room temp as possible, while early experiments with close to boiling temps resulted in lots of turbidity. The particle size may not be much larger, but there were a lot more outliers by way of grey haze in the solution.
