Are all ultrasonic humidifiers made the same?
Some appear to be for aromatherapy oils and such like.
Would like to have one of these "at the ready"
And this post has got me fired up about it again.

Who has what in the UH department.
Do we look for super portable?, do we look for Particular features?
Are there types that AREN'T suitable for Colloidal Silver.?

Any input welcome.

They seem to range £29.00 to over £100.00 !!

You want one that is just made to disperse water into the air.  It must be an actual ultrasonic unit.  Not one for essential oils.

So using the ultrasonic unit, how often and how long would you recommend...this guy has had nothing but God awful sinus problems all his life...had them reamed out years ago and obviously that did no good....I'd like to be darn sure to get rid of it.   I'm thinking twice a day, but never used the ultrasonic before...so how long do you use them...

How long each application and how many times a day do you think you need to use the ultrasonic humidifier each day to be completely effective?

There aren't any rules, but considering how safe it is, I would use it multiple times a day for as long as necessary, or until I determined that it was no benefit to me.

sbmoore,

This is what I do...(https://www.cgcsforum.org/index.php?topic=3808.msg32218#msg32218).  It really works great for us and still no problems.

So since I was sending this Colloidal Silver across country, by sending 320ppm with diluting instruction, I could send more in a smaller container...but reading this thread for the third or fourth time, I picked up on UPCAPPED 20ppm....and of course I make my 320ppm CAPPED with gelatin....so am I correct in assuming this is not going to work.....as the gelatin cap will not allow it to disinfect his sinuses....

Originally, I thought that gelatin capped silver would not be effective without being digested, but later I found lab research which showed that it was effective in-vitro.  I don't know if anyone has actually tried this on a real person though, but if it works in-vitro, it should work in sinus cavities.
All I can say for sure is that you should try it.

I have cured a cold fast using 320 capped that I diluted so imo it does work that way.
