A few questions about Colloidal Gold production
« on: March 14, 2016, 11:04:32 PM »
Kephra,

I am finally going to try colloidal gold soon and would appreciate your answers to the following questions.

In your "easier colloidal gold recipe", you say to use 1 ml Gold Chloride containing 10 mg gold (Available from SaltLakeMetals.com). Do you measure this with a dropper and if so, is it 20 drops?

You also mentioned gel capping colloidal gold a while back to help protect the colloidal gold from stomach acid and other content. With time and experience, do you feel that the gelatin is helpful or more effective than uncapped colloidal gold?

What do you think is an average time before the effects of colloidal gold can be noticed? I know with colloidal silver it is fairly quick as in less than a week, but I get the impression that colloidal gold can be longer.

Will a cup a day of the easier recipe be enough or will more be needed to be effective?

Any comments on any of this from the forum members who use or have used colloidal gold would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Here's what I do on a daily basis:
This makes 2 doses, one for me and one for the misses.

Start with 1 pint cold distilled water.
Add the stir bar and start stirrer
Add 1 eyedropper squirt of 1 molar sodium carbonate  (about 10 drops... I do not obsess)
Add 1 eyedropper squirt of 50% Karo syrup
Add 2 ml (measured with a syringe) gold chloride solution from salt lake metals
Put in microwave on high for 3 1/2 to 4 minutes

Remove from microwave and gel cap by adding 1 tablespoon of premade gelatin mixture
Pour into two cups
Add teabags and sweeten to taste or drink plain.
Drink immediately.

To make the gelatin mixture:
Make 1 cup of 20 ppm colloidal silver, reduced with corn syrup
While at room temperature, put on stirrer set to 1000 rpm
Sprinkle 1 gram (1/4 tsp) Knox gelatin on top.
Turn on heater set to 200C
When gelatin is dissolved, (solution goes clear) remove from heat and remove spinner magnet.
Chill and save in refrigerator.

Thats what I do.  The only critical part is measuring the gold chloride, and a 1 ml measuring syringe (CVS has them and would probably give you one) is ideal.

This produces 2 10mg doses of colloidal gold.

I use a 1ml measuring syringe, 20 drops is close enough..  don't obsess :)

Yes

Yes, several weeks.  2 to 3 weeks is about normal for arthritic symtoms.

If you want quicker results, 3 cups or 30 mg is the dosage the doctor used when testing colloidal gold in his clinical trials.

That is a clever way to accomplish the capping of the colloidal gold. Since it is hot & you want to use it right away that's a great procedure.

@ Kephra,  Did you notice any increase in efficacy after you started capping your colloidal gold?

So many VARIABLES & so little TIME.

I really can't say for sure.  I have no objective way of measuring that.

Just thought I would update this. I made my first two batches of colloidal gold using "your easy method".

You're right, Kephra, your method is very easy! I wish I had asked you about how you do it before I ordered the Carbo Gain, as "your method"does not even require the Carbo Gain.  I'll have to find a use for that somewhere down the road. I decided to start with 500ml a day for at least the first week or two.

Both batches that I made looked very much like the 250ml MesoGold that I purchased previously for $30, but this method is so very much cheaper! I really don't know how many people could afford to take colloidal silver or colloidal gold at effective doses unless they make it themselves. At $30 dollars per dose per day, that's $900 a month if you're only taking 250ml per day!

Thank you very much for your help , Kephra!  :)

You can use the carbo-gain in place of the Karo if you want 1/2 tsp is what I used.  I used to do it that way, but that was one more thing I had to keep track of, and the Karo works perfect.

Yes, the Karo is easier......especially since I already have it made for the  colloidal silver.

Kephra, do you always make you Gelatin using Colloidal Silver? If so, how come?

Kephra as soon as I get another power supply (it's on the way...) I will go at it again for the colloidal gold III electrolysis method.
Have you or anyone else got any idea about how long it lasts once made? ( refrigerated )
I want to give some away so I would like to make weekly doses, if possible.
Thanks.

Hi, I want to get the best gold shelf life possible.. I used your colloidal Gold Microwave method but I noticed that after a week gold perticipates as black small particles. If I use this method

"250ml hot distilled water.
1 ml Gold Chloride containing 10 mg gold (Available from SaltLakeMetals.com).
10 drops 1 Molar sodium carbonate solution
125 mg Maltodextrin (Carbo-Gain) minimum,  more ok
(Dextrin based Benefiber may be substituted for maltodextrin, but it may not be as absorbable)
Add Maltodextrin and Gold Chloride to boiling distilled water.
Slowly add sodium carbonate solution or 10 drops 1M sodium hydroxide drop by drop with constant stirring.
Allow to cool."

will my colloidal gold last longer?
Thanks

Kephra, is there any difference in result as far as quality / particle size etc. If this is done in a different order ?
The only reason I ask is that the reaction I get is near instant but from reading this method, it would be logical to assume that the reaction is more gradual as the heat builds.

I took cold water
Added the Karo
Added the Gold Chloride
Then heated, (6 minutes for 500ml)
Then put on the hot plate and added stir bar

And lastly added the sodium.

It turns instantly deep red by about the 3rd Or 4th drop (of 12-14) in total.
So I feel like the result is right but not sure if the order of "added ingredients" has any adverse effect.

I absolutely love it though! Such a cool process :-)

I would and do put the gold chloride in as the last ingredient.  I don't preheat the water.
So its in with the sodium carbonate and karo or maltodextrin first.
Stir long enough to mix the sodium carbonate and reducing agent.
Then gold chloride while stirring  until it is mixed.
You won't get a quick reaction.
Then heat in the nukerator for about 7 minutes (for a quart).  You will see it turn red after a couple minutes through the microwave window.
Stirring isn't necessary after heating but wont hurt anything.

Generally, you don't want a real fast reaction.  When the solution is more uniform, then the gold particles will be more uniform in size also.
