Should there be any taste whatsoever?
Secondly, does anyone have experience with the sirius metals brand? They offer a 200ppm gold colloid. First post here.

Colloidal silver should not really have any significant taste. Ionic silver tastes metallic.

I have never drunk colloidal gold, but I would be surprised if there was any significant taste to this either; perhaps those more experienced can tell us.

I have some 100 ppm silver and 200 ppm gold with slight taste. It's nothing awful, hard to describe, a bit bitter but not significant but I wouldn't describe them as 100% tasteless. I don't think they're ionic/chlorides though as the gold is a very dark red, almost purple but not and the silver looks like pee basically. Lighter than meso silver looks like, though which is interesting because it's 5x the concentration.

My experience with colloidal gold taste is basically no taste, just like with Colloidal Silver.

I see, is that a bad sign then? I figured higher concentrations would have some trace taste that would be normal. The SM gold I have is a very dark ruby when viewed in sunlight otherwise almost black in poor light and has a little taste. Half a month of taking it and I started getting really vivid dreams so I assumed it was the real thing.

Edit: Well today, I taste nothing more or less from either. And it's a lovely ruby if a bit dark, darker than Meso. I think it may be real. The silver seems real too but not as dark as the 80 ppm in the color thread, and it's claimed to be 100.

Sirius Metals still has offerings on Amazon despite their website being down right now. They offer various ppm's as well as gold chloride and ionic silver solutions..

The lack of a taste is neither good or bad. Your tongue is designed to detect food and reject things that are likely to be bad for you, but that's all. It wasn't designed to detect nanoparticles.

Thanks. All in all the gold seems to be real. Quite astounding if it truly is a legitimate commercial offering of 200 ppm. From what I can tell it's real at least, if vivid dreams are any indication of legitimacy.

Their lower ppm offerings are a lighter color of ruby, does 200+ ppm have a certain shade or darker color in general? Any idea if at a glance any of you can determine anything from the listing on amazon?

Sorry if I'm posting things that are already known to you guys, but if anyone could confirm stuff like vivid dreams being a sign of a real colloid it'd be appreciated as I can't make any at this moment and if it checks out I'm gonna buy some more of Sirius Metal's 200ppm. It appears to be a dark ruby red, darker than Meso's light ruby at 200ppm but still the same color?

colloidal gold at 50ppm is already quite a dark ruby red, assuming a beaker of 10cm diameter. In a small glass it's bright ruby. I doubt 200ppm would show much red in it. It should be quite close to black.
