A question for those who know

Stagno:
Hi guys. I have been using glucose as a reducer for a long time with good success. I have recently changed to matodextrin which does give a slightly better end product ie less Tyndall effect, but what I have noticed is that my colloidal silver now leaves a yellow stain on the inside of my reduction vessel. My question is what causes this? I am also wondering if silver is being deposited on the glass then that will be reducing the ppm of the end product. I keep my equipment very clean and have cleaned my reduction vessel with H2O2 double rinsed with DW so contamination is not an issue. Am thinking to maybe go back to using glucose. Any input would be gratefully received.
Stagno:
Ok so it's the adhesive properties of maltodextrin. Thanks for that.
