Finally I made my gold chloride (HAuCl4 in H2O). I already made 2x250 ml batches with microwave receipt and my PH reads 8-9...One receipt uses maltodextrin and one not. The question is this: I want maltodextrin as my stabilizer , but not so much quantity (1/2 t.spoon) because colloidal gold has a sweet like taste. If I use Corn syroup for reduction can I reduce the amount of maltodextrin? And how much? Please state the quantity of each element if in a receipt we use sodium carbonate, Corn Syrup and maltodextrin. Thanks
