Alternate reducing agent for Colloidal Gold

Hi,
I have been making colloidal gold using gold chloride and corn syrup. This works very well, but only issue is some times it upsets stomach. So is this possible to use some other reducing agents. Thanks.

I would be surprised if it was the corn syrup which is causing the upset stomach. The corn syrup is the reducing agent. Try Maltodextrin.

I didn't know corn syrup was used, does that mean colloidal gold contains sugar? Sugars and sweeteners might be a concern for me since I try to do keto.

The amount of sugar in a litre of Colloidal Silver or colloidal gold is so trifling that it is not (IMHO) worthy of consideration.
