Im confused because this entire thread is about making colloidal silver with gold chloride, not electrolysis.
Tell what exactly are you doing, so I can help you better.

ahaha sorry, i did not even notice, i have been trying to ask that question and felt it was the right time since the pics above show 2 different batches which i want to fulfill (left)...

How can i make it darker and not as the pic in the right which was weak? more time, citrate, syrup, salt???

thank you and sorry again..

Run high current until you get no more color change.  The amount of gold is determined by the amount of salt, and the process stops when all the sodium chloride has been converted to sodium hydroxide.

so is it safe to add more salt and let run for longer so the process of sodium chloride has been converted to sodium hydroxide?

Yes, but if you followed my formulas for electrolysis, you really shouldn't have to add more.  You probably don't have enough current.

could be the problem for sure...i will try to increase the current next time by adjusting the anode position and how much i have in the water... is it a good idea before starting to add more salt?

Make your cathode large, and you anode small.  I was always able to get 250ma or more with my 36 volt power pack.  You want a lot of current per area of your anode.  If you can't get the current up that high, move them closer together.  Increasing your wetted anode works against you.

Perhaps it's my browser (Mozilla) I will try another one later. Thanks

Aha, once I switched from Mozilla browser to Internet Internet explorer, the pic loaded.
The picture is very poor from my phone, but I am pleased with this first batch.

Yep, you have colloidal gold!
BTW, I only use Firefox, and pictures upload ok.  Perhaps there is something else different.
