please guide me :
1- can i use gold in both poles(anode and cathode)?
2- as i want to make my first batch of colloidal gold with this method :
(( 40ppm (approx) Colloidal Gold, Electrolysis I
250 ml hot distilled water
100 mg sodium chloride (table salt ok, NOT sea salt)
110 mg trisodium citrate monohydrate
Pure gold anode, copper cathode.
1 ml Cinnamon Extract
Electrolyze with 350 milliamp current for 25 to 30 minutes
Constant stirring and heat required...
so my question is that i must first solve [sodium chloride+trisodium citrate+Cinnamon Extract ] and then turn on power ?
thanks

Yes, you can use gold for both electrodes. It is unnecessary, but you can do it.
All the chemicals have to be in the water and dissolved before powering the electrodes.
-
it is necessary to keep water nearv to boil all time of process ? what is maintenance temp approximately ?
thanks
-
Yes. A good way to judge is that you should have bubbles on the bottom of the flask which do not break the surface of the water. I think cooks call this a 'simmer'.
-
thanks
i made my first colloidal gold batch with laser test
so:
gold as positive and copper as negative
15 volt/DC 1 amp
deionozed instead distilled water
color change very rapid( almost in 8 minutes)
so can i take it now?
thanks
-
Yes. It is the correct color. Should not have a metallic taste, but might taste a little salty.
-
i am worry because voltage was less and amp was bigger than as mentioned in protocol and all of proccess completed in about 8 minutes.
nevertheless can i take that?
-
Yes, you can.
-
thanks a lot dear kephra

Based on above protocol if i want to produce higher concentration of colloidal gold (ie 200 ppm) so what parameters must multiplied?
my guess : 1250 cc water+ 500 mg Nacl+ 550 mg sodium citrate + 5 cc cinammon extract . that's right?
- what about electric parameters?
-
No, that will not work. About 40 ppm is the maximum you can make with electrolysis before it becomes unstable and falls out of solution,
-
so what is your recommend protocol for higher ppm?
-
Forget electrolysis and start with gold chloride. That makes the best quality colloidal gold.
Use 20ml 1% gold chloride from Salt Lake Metals.
Use 1 ml of 1 Molar sodium carbonate solution per liter of water.
Use 1 ml or more Karo Light corn syrup per liter.*
Use 2 grams of animal based gelatin per liter.*
Heat to 90C.
*You will probably need to experiment with these values.
-
but my country is under international sanctions so can't buy any kind of brand materials (gold chloride from Salt Lake Metals and ...)
any suggestion?
-
Use 40 ppm, just take 5 times as much.
Ppm is not important, milligrams of gold (or silver) is what is important.
-
thanks kephra
u said 10-12 mg of colloidal gold per day that is equal to 250 ml of 40 ppm per day
that's right?
-
Yes, 250ml of 40 ppm is 10 mg.

I agree ! Easy fast and great quality .

Kephra,
Just to clarify, the following quote makes 200ppm colloidal gold in 1 liter of DW?

Kephra,
I’ll do some experiments and see if we can pin down an exact formula.
