Fluorescent lighting and sun light
« on: May 07, 2018, 11:09:22 PM »
I read on here that fluorescent lighting can reduce IS as well as sunlight, so I have been keeping my curtain in my kitchen closed as well as my main light in my kitchen off because it is fluorescent. Then it dawned on me that this might be silly seeing as I am either capping and reducing or at the least reducing the batches anyway. If I am making Colloidal Silver that I am reducing anyway, can I keep my light on and open the curtain? The only brew I would have to keep the direct sunlight from hitting or the fluorescent lights off of would be if I was making Ionic Silver, right?

Fluorescent lighting is rich in blue and ultraviolet so it tends reduce ionic silver.  That's why photography darkroom lights are red.  It also seems to neutralize the electrostatic repulsion of the reduced atoms causing them to combine into very large particles.

Normal lighting through windows does not seem to harm anything, but direct sunlight is a problem.
So you can open your curtains.

Okay, so keep the light off because I don't want large particles, but open the curtain when the sun isn't shining in directly?

Keep your solution out of direct sunlight.

I always make my Colloidal Silver in subdued light, but that's mainly because my window points directly towards the sun.

Have had some very strange changes to silver if left out (even fully reduced) After a time the colour seems to become more and more orange in tone. For this reason, I believe it is best to keep all / any silver in a subdued area (kitchen cupboard / garage)

Seems to be unaffected forever if kept like that!

I kept a small sample of my first 2 batches of 20 ppm and my first batch of 320 ppm purely to look at in the future lol

I did that with my first 500ml of colloidal Gold. Must be approaching a year now and it looks the
same as when I made it  ;D

Awesome! I haven't read anything about colloidal gold yet. I am saving it to obsess about in the future :)

I did a YouTube video of me making some colloidal gold.
It was supposed to be a “lighthearted” look but you tubers seemed to think otherwise.

Apparently, I was introducing Neurotoxins into my brain because the gold would cross the brain blood barrier.
And putting it in a microwave to heat it up was a suicidal act of monumental proportions.

I couldn’t be arsed to keep explaining it. And out of all of the comments only one bothered to actually have the decency to “extend” the initial post they made.

If I saved it elsewhere, I’ll put it up again for you. (But just put the link here) the rest of the world can go take a running jump!

The world is full of ignorant and stupid people.  Of course they had no real basis for their comments.  Ignore them.

Its best to not try to educate people who do not want to be educated.

Those that want to know will find you.

Those are words of wisdom from Kephra for sure!

And Dean you were right to take it down. Who needs a bunch of crap from dudes that probably have no idea what they have put past the blood brain barrier.  Hey bro what's a blood brain barrier?  Is that a new video game?
