Is heat alone enough for gel capped 320ppm?
« on: January 13, 2021, 12:38:47 AM »
I am considering trying to make some high strength gel capped for consumption, but I have zero stirring. I only have my hotplate. Is this adequate to make 320ppm gel capped Colloidal Silver?

Probably OK, but use enough heat to stir the water using convection currents.

Alternatively, use a water pump in addition to heat. Go to an aquarist and ask for a miniature aquarium pump (they are about 2 inches long x 1 inch wide x 1 1/2 inches high. This will stir the distilled water more than adequately.

Personally, I find heating the DW to simmering is fully adequate.

I have used both heat and gelatin and consuming it by diluting. No issues so far after 1 year.
