Well that looks perfect.

That batch looks pretty! Congratulations!
Is the anode green because of the copper cathode?

I think there is nothing to worry about.  Your colloidal silver looks perfect.  Just fire clean your anode, and never use a metallic scrubbee.  The only silver compound that is greenish is silver carbonate, and that is not harmful.  Any silver carbonate in the solution will be reduced just like the silver oxide.

I'm sure wgpeters is right, in that it's harmless. It looks like a very nice batch!

If I understand, the green has nothing to do with the copper cathode?
Would this silver carbonate compound come from a reaction with the Electrolyte?
And why does it stick to the anode?

Thanks,

-Sancho

Silver carbonate has very low solubility.  It comes from the carbonate in the water (carbonic acid) and the sodium carbonate electrolyte reacting with the silver anode.

To much electrolyte maybe?

No, do not change the amount of electrolyte.  There is nothing wrong with your colloidal silver.

So you stirred but didn't heat, processing cold?  And you were able to use 11ma with what shape/size silver anode?

Yeah, that batch looks perfect.

You added the reducing agent when you started the run or after it was finished?

Correct.  1 qt  processed cold with Magnetic stirring, 11 ma then when process done I added reducing agent and applied heat while stirring.
I belive the silver is 12 Guage I purchased them from same place as silvertron. Copper 14 guage

The silver wire I supplied to you is 12 gauge 0.999 pure silver.
12 gauge is 2mm in diameter.
